hey all!!!

had a wonderful week so far. been feeling chirpy all week (that's when i dont think about the upcoming test on monday).

met up with hl on yesterday! had so much fun in bugis area.
while waiting for hl, i got the chance to pop by the national library's lobby. the furthest i went was to the toilet at basement. its quite embarassing, but i've really never stepped into the national lib before. cos i've heard so many complaints about it and i've really got no reason to go there, yeap. so... yesterday was the first time. quite a nice place, but i didnt get to see much, cos its just a lobby and the toilet.

i asked hl to bring me to Miss Clarity cafe at purvis st. and i must say the food is very good! i am very happy with the price and the taste (quantity also). thumbs up for this cafe. will definitely patronise again.
(sorry no pics, cos i think i was too eager to start eating and forgot all about pictures)

we yak and yak while waiting for the food to come and explored each another's phone. we are 2 lucky girls who changed phones recently! muahaha. and we love our new clever phones. hehe.

we walked over to bugis junction to wait for the sun to set, so that we can walk in bugis st. w/o being cooked in the afternoon heat. we didnt buy anything in bugis junction at all, just window shopping throughout.

at bugis st. it was really crowded for a weekday, but i still managed to buy the pair of washed jeans and white beaded necklace that i've been lemming for quite awhile.
while i was trying to squeeze into a pair of jeans that clearly wasnt my size, (i shan't reveal the numerical sizing) hl witnessed a drama involving a stupid teenage couple who tried to steal a whole set of blouse with hanger, necklace, patent belt and all. i think they are just plain BRAINLESS. like hl said the set of apparel is so prominent, so how can u steal something so freakin' prominent!!! ???
lucky for them, the ladyboss didnt report them to the police and they left... all this happened when i was in the fitting room. so sad... i wanna KPO and remember their faces.

after shopping @ bugis st. we didnt feel like going home yet. so we decided on heading to Jalan Kayu to eat prata!
en route to JK, we stopped by at amk to alter my jeans (darn my short legs), cos i really didnt want to bring the jeans out on a separate occasion to alter it. its heavy to lug around and i wanna be able to wear the jeans asap.
hl brought me to an old fashioned tailor shop, those that make custom suits. the elderly couple in the shop were very nice people, kindly and chatty, and they only charge $6 for such an express service! i dont mind travelling to amk next time to get my alterations done by them, rather than going to far east and be a carrot-head for them to chop...

so at JK, i brought hl to the shop which i think is the famous/original prata shop. and the prata is yummy! i love my cheese prata and hl's banana prata is very nice. reminds me of marche's sweet crepe. the food is gd, but the atmosphere really sucked. we tried to find an airy seat to no avail, and worse still, we ended up at a seat that got us smelling like we went to a BBQ... cos they were selling satays at the prata shop! dont ask me why, but it seems like people like their prata with satays, so we got "smoked" involuntarily....

credits to hl, i accidentally deleted the one taken on my phone! i'm getting old and clumsy with new technology.

its been quite long since i actually shopped properly... so i really enjoyed myself!

p/s. next up on the to-do list: i wanna take lovegety pics with dearbie! (i found an old lovegety card taken in 2002, and we looked so different then!)

oh, before i forget, the latest theme on my hp... its adorable!
